ISL web marketing and development is pleased to announce it has relocated its head office to 5777 West St. The newly constructed 3 1/2 story building on the corner of West and Agricola St. will be home to the company and its 30 employees.
The move comes during the company’s 15th year in operation. From the early stages of the internet, ISL has been providing web based marketing solutions for its clients. The company has grown across the country, with offices in Halifax and Vancouver and is now the largest internet marketing firm in Atlantic Canada.
Over the last 15 years ISL has moved a few times within HRM and is now glad to set a permanent stake on the corner of West and Agricola Street. It took approximately 7 months to build the 8000 square foot office building. Of which, 7100 square feet is dedicated to ISL web marketing’s operations and 900 square feet reserved for a local retail company.
"This is an exciting time for the company," commented Malcolm Fraser, president of ISL. "After 15 successful years in operation we now have a permanent home. Our new infrastructure will be paramount in helping us meet the growing needs of our clients and our employees. “
ISL has a strong commitment to corporate responsibility. The company has been recognized as one of the top places to work in Atlantic Canada for the past two years. ISL’s commitment to community is further demonstrated by its substantial contributions to non-profit organization in the community including: the North End Community Center, the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, the 2011 Canada Games, Snowboard Nova Scotia, AIMS, QEII, Canadian Breast Cancer Society just to name a few.
“The North end of Halifax has a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem,” comments Paul Kent, President and CEO of Greater Halifax Partnership. “It is the perfect place to grow a company focused on technology and digital communications. ISL is a remarkable example of a company whose dedication to innovation and community support has allowed them to grow and flourish in our vibrant city.”
“We’ve only just moved into the community and already the positive response from the other businesses in the neighbourhood has been overwhelming, “stated Malcolm Fraser. “We are really looking forward to helping the local community while building strong relationships with our new neighbours.
On Thursday, June 23rd ISL will host an open house/fundraiser, welcoming all of its friends, customers and neighbours to stop by for the grand reveal. The building will be transformed into an art gallery, art curated by the Art Sales and Rental division of the AGNS, for one evening. Adding to its philanthropic activities, ISL will also be collecting funds for the North End Community Health Centre.
