In July we saw the launch of the Apple iphone in Canada. Earlier in the year I was surprised to hear that in the US over 40% of Yahoo's mobile traffic is now coming from the iphone/ipod touch platform.

This is significant, and points to a long prophesized event … "the large scale usage of mobile Internet".
